Amrita Panda

Indian Idol finalist Amrita Panda has the love for Art & music in her as a family inheritance. Her eldest sister, Ms Aliva Arati Panda is a reputed TV and Stage Anchor and Editor of a Journal. Her middle sister, Sringarmani Arupa Gayatri Panda is a famous national and international Odissi Dancer & TV serial artist. Her father is an amateur actor, writer and lyricist. Interest in music developed in her at the tender age of 3 when she was in her pre-Nursery Class. She started her career on stage as a child artist from 2002-03 when she was in Class-IV, i.e. at the age of 9. By the age of 18 she had rendered more than 600 commercial and amateur stage programmes on behalf of various reputed Bhajan, Gazal & Music Troupes in Odisha and almost in most metropolitan and cosmopolitan cities of India.
She specially rendered more than 150 Geet & Gazal Programmes with Md. Abid, Sidhartha Mishra, Babu Panigrahi, Laxmikanta Palit, Surya Srikanta, and Sibasis Samal, eminent Gazal Singers of Odisha.
His Highness Governor of Odisha, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Odisha many other Hon’ble Ministers and cultural and eminent persons of other fields have awarded her on many occasions.
