Abhik Banerjee

Abhik Banerjee is an Indian dancer who is a contestant in Dance India Dance (DID) season 3. This program is telecasted in Zee TV. Abhik is only 17 year old. He is the youngest contestant in DID. He belongs to Ranchi. He studies in 11th standard (Arts). He is a trained Kathak dancer and has been assisting celebrated choreographer, Saroj Khan for the past 4 years. He is trained by Shubojeet Shom, Kolkata also. Abhik wants to become an actor and choreographer. He believes that a dancer has to have an ear for music to have a sound understanding of rhythm and beats. The young kid loves to study which is an unusual fetish for a person of his age. His dance idol is Hritik Roshan. In DID 3 he is in Geeta Kapur’s team Geeta Ki Gang.
