Faridkote Band has delighted music lovers with their original compositions for more than a decade, connoisseurs of the Hindi/Punjabi rock, folk and pop genre are familiar with their original brand of music.A decade back , when Inderpreet, Rajshree and Sahil came together to form Faridkot, even they did not know how their music will evolve. But as goes the saying, music has a soul of its own and very soon it was their music that was driving them rather than the other way around. A pleasing amalgamation of pop vocals, bluesy guitar, funk bass lines, melodic and sometimes pompous electronic layers and progressive drumming makes Faridkote’s signature easily discernible to the fan’s hearing.
