As actor he started as a cameo in film Carry On Jatta. His debut lead film was Dil Pardesi Ho Gia. He is also very much famous for his Turban Style and one of his song dedicated to his turban is "chare passe teri pagri di char ve" duet song with Jaspinder Narula. He is well known as a romantic song and sad song singer.
