Mika Singh

Mika Singh is an Indian singer, composer, performer and songwriter. He was born in Durgapur, West Bengal, on June 10, 1977. His real name is Amrik Singh. He is mainly Bhangra/rap singer. He is younger brother of Pop Star singer Daler Mehndi. Mika is also known as The Badshah of Bollywood. He is considered a highly acclaimed musician in world wide.

Amrik Singh is known by his official name Mika singh. His father and mother both are preacher in Patna Sahib Gurudwara. He Started training from his childhood by his parents, when he was 8 years old, he started learn and playing tabla in gurudwara at the age of 12 he also began learn how to play hurmonium. After that at the age of 14 he learnt to play guitar as well.

Amrik while his learning, he used to sing in kirtans later he started singing with his elder brother Daler Mehndi in meanwhile he moved up the ladder of success and he become known singer. when he was 21 year old in 1998, He released his first album called "Sawan Mein Lag Gayye Aag" which was a huge success in India. After that Mika released other hit songs like Dunali, Gabru, Ishq Brandy, Something Something and many more.

Mika is also worked in as an with sunil Shetty's Production house movie named Loot. He has taken part in a couple of reality shows like Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa and Jhoom India. Mika is also set to release his 5th studio album in 2008 which is highly anticipated due to the involvement of Vikas Kohli and the work done at the Fatlabs studio in Canada.

He is also known for the "Jaatan (Jat) ka chora" song, which is based on the Jat clan (Haryana) Rani tu mi Raja Son of Sardaar.
