Rajasmita Kar

Rajasmita Kar is an Indian dancer who is a contestant in Dance India Dance (DID) season 3. This program is telecasted in Zee TV. Rajasmita was born on 26 January 1991. Her father is Mr Ramesh Kumar Kar and mother is Mrs Ranjita. Her nickname is Niki. She is from Rourkela ,Odisha. She is a 12th class student in Rourkela Junior College. She started learning dancing while she was in Class – IV, in the age of eight years only. Her parents encouraged her in every step of life and helped her to do a career in dance. Her dance master is Mr Aman who is from Rourkela, who trained and supported her every time, and made her a mature andtalented dancer. First time she appeared in the reality show Dhoom Machale and reached in final inTarang TV Channel. She selected for this show in the selection show which is organized by DID in Kastubha College, Bhubaneswar. Then she selected for eastern zone in Kolkata and then for top 100 dancers in Mumbai. Rajasmita loves Hip Hop the most but she does all other dance styles pretty well. Her dance idol is Sridevi. She loves painting, singing and making art with clay, tailoring and dislikes staying at home.She wants to open a dance institute in Odisha and teach kids.
