Shaimak Davar

Shiamak has directed, designed and choreographed entertainment acts for almost every Bollywood super star for live performances at various events across the world, including Jermaine Jackson, and world-renowned music composer A. R. Rahman. He designed and choreographed ‘The Unforgettable Tour’, the biggest Bollywood show to tour America, Canada and the UK performed by super stars Amitabh Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and others.

He is the official entertainment designer and choreographer for the Indian International Film Academy (IIFA) Awards. He has directed, designed and choreographed songs for some of the biggest Bollywood blockbusters including Dhoom 2 and the Disney film ‘Zokkomon’. He won the National Award (from the President of India) for his first feature film choreography (Dil Toh Pagal Hai). He has choreographed a dance sequence for the Hollywood blockbuster Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol.

Shiamak choreographed and designed songs for the Franco Dragone musical production INDIAdirected by Brian Burke. His production I BELIEVE – ASHIAMAK DAVAR SPECTACULAR, which he directed, designed, choreographed and performed, has been compared to some of the biggest Broadway musicals. Shiamak choreographed Zangoora – The Gypsy Prince, the biggest Bollywood stage musical ever, currently running at The Kingdom of Dreams, Gurgaon.

Shiamak has put India on the world map by directing, designing and performing at global events like the Closing Ceremony of The Commonwealth Games (Melbourne 2006 and Delhi 2010), The World Economic Forum (Davos) and more. He has entertained world leaders including Bill Clinton (former US President), Canadian Prime Minister Stephen Harper, and has interacted with international stars Tom Cruise, Richard Gere, Will Smith, Michael Douglas, Bryan Adams, Stevie Wonder, Oprah Winfrey and the legendary American choreographer Debbie Allen.
